AGREEMENT IMPOSSIBLE WITHOUT NAGORNO KARABAKH PARTICIPATION IN TALKS

“Unfortunately, today there is no active negotiation process, but it does not at all mean we should not be ready for the day when the negotiations resume.” As reported by “De Facto” agency, Nagorno Karabakh President Arkady Ghukasian stated it last evening upon the completion of the meeting with the OSCE Minsk group co-chairs in Stepanakert. In his words, “Stepanakert has certain approaches to the present settlement stage, which were presented to the mediators.” The Nagorno Karabakh leader noted that the question of active participation of the Karabakh party in the negotiation process was also concerned at the meeting with the international intermediaries. “I am sure this will happen, as reaching agreement is impossible without Nagorno Karabakh participation in the negotiations,” – Arkady Ghukasian emphasized.
