Talks on withholding reciprocal comments at the PACE fall session are being conducted between Armenia and Azeri delegations at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. It should be reminded that today the hearings of the reports regarding Armenia and Azerbaijan’s fulfillment of the commitments to the Council of Europe undertaken at joining the organization will take place. As “Arminfo” agency reports with reference to “Turan” agency, the report of the PACE monitoring committee known as “Gross and Kasan’s report” includes serious remarks on the position of the official Baku. Thereupon the Azeri delegation conducts lobby talks with the PACE legal and political commissions on mitigating several clauses in Gross and Kasan’s report on Azerbaijan, in particular, the ones concerning the issue on political prisoners.
