At the meeting in New York Russian and Turkish foreign ministers Sergey Ivanov and Shukru Sina Gurel discussed prospects of settling conflicts in the South Caucasus. As reported by “Mediamax” agency, the heads of the foreign departments of the two countries had already reaffirmed their readiness to cooperate on the basis of “Plan of actions on developing cooperation between the Turkish Republic and Russian Federation in the Eurasian region” signed in November 2001.
