ARMENIA READY TO MEDIATE TO SETTLE RELATIONS BETWEEN RUSSIA AND GEORGIA

In case of necessity Armenia may come out as a mediator to settle relations between Russia and Georgia. Armenian foreign minister Vardan Oskanian stated it. In his words, “not only Russia and Georgia will benefit from settling relations, but also Armenia.” At the same time the minister emphasized that “Armenia will not be able to assume such a role by itself.” Russia and Georgia are neighboring countries and Armenia is interested in cooperation with them, V.Oskanian noted.
