ARMENIA CONDEMNS TERRORISM AND COMES AGAINST TERRORIST ACTS IRRESPECTIVE OF THEIR PURPOSES

Armenia condemns terrorism and comes against any acts of terrorism irrespective of their purposes. Today Armenian foreign minister Vardan Oskanian stated it on the occasion of the anniversary of the tragic events in US last September. The Armenian foreign ministry head again expressed compassion on the US government and people, who had suffered losses as a result of the acts of terrorism in New York, Washington and Pennsylvania. He emphasized that the international community had rallied around US for struggle against the evil, which had become a threat for the entire world. “Beginning on the first day Armenia joined the struggle against international terrorism, making its modest contribution to the cause,” – V.Oskanian noted. The minister said that the September 11 had triggered new realities on the international arena. “This day was also marked by creation of an unprecedented international coalition, where rivals and foes, small and large states united perceiving their irreplaceable role in the cause,” – V.Oskanian said.
