ARMENIAN DELEGATION TO PARTICIPATE IN WB AND IMF ANNUAL CONFERENCE

Armenian delegation headed by minister of finance and economy Vardan Khachatrian will take part in the annual conference of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund September 29. Questions connected with the conference were discussed by minister V.Khachatrian and the newly appointed chief of the IMF Armenian representation James Makhue. The parties also discussed matters of realization of Poverty Reduction Support Credit (PRSC) program in Armenia. J.Makhue informed the minister that an IMF delegation would visit Armenia in 2002. Let us note that in case the Armenian government holds reforms, the WB will render a credit of 40 million US dollars within PRSC framework.
