COOPERATION WITH EU IS PRIORITY QUESTION FOR ARMENIA, ARMENIAN PARLIAMENT SPEAKER STATED

Cooperation with the European Union is a priority question for Armenia. Armenian parliament Speaker Armen Khachatrian stated it at the forth meeting of the commission on Armenia-EU inter-parliamentary cooperation being held in Yerevan. In his words, the economic legislation of Armenia is gradually approaching the European norms. “The most important task for us is to ensure as favorable as possible a field to attract investments and to make the tax legislation perfect,” – A.Khachatrian said. He welcomed realization of EU programs in the region, which would let the countries make specific the spheres of mutual interest. “In particular, TRASECA and INOGATE programs may become a brilliant example of cooperation if equal participation of all countries of the region is provided,” – A.Khachatrian said.
