MUSLIM WORLD LEAGUE LEADER CALLS UPON ISLAMIC COUNTRIES TO PROCEED FROM “A JOINT POSITION” ON KARABAKH QUESTION

“Our aim is to achieve a joint position of Islamic countries on the Karabakh question irrespective of the nature of their relations with Armenia,” – stated secretary general of the Muslim World League Abdullah bin Abdulmohsin Al-Turki, who is in Baku at present. “We know well that Azerbaijan and its people have undergone armed aggression, and we express our position on the question from the rostrums of various organizations,” – the Islamic leader stated. “The Muslim World League is a non-governmental organization and the only thing that we can do is to bring to the notice of the public of the Muslim countries the truth about the occurrence, appeal to the governments to contribute to Azerbaijan,” – Al-Turki noted.
