Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission Artak Sagradian announced the preliminary dates of the presidential and parliamentary elections in Armenia. In his words, the republic presidential elections will be held February 19, 2003, and the parliamentarian ones – May 25, 2003. Let us note that in March 2003 the term of the authority of the acting President Robert Kocharian will expire, and in May – that of the parliament. Present President of Armenia Robert Kocharian has already declared about his intention to run for state leader again.
