ACCORDING TO COUNCIL OF EUROPE, COMING PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION IN NAGORNO-KARABAKH NOT HAVE NEGATIVE IMPACT ON KARABAKH CONFLICT SETTLEMENT

The Council of Europe state-members do not think, the August presidential election in Nagorno-Karabakh will have negative impact on the process of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement. Armenian MFA press secretary Dzyunik Agajanian has stated that in the interview with “Arminfo” agency commenting on the corresponding reports of the Azeri media. At the same time, the Armenian MIF confirmed that yesterday the CE passed a resolution on the coming presidential election in NKR. According the document, the CE states do not intend recognizing legality of the election noting that they speak in support of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and do not recognize the independence of Nagorno-Karabakh.
