SERIOUS STRUCTURAL CHANGES IN SYSTEM OF FORCE DEPARTMENTS AND SPECIAL SERVICES IN AZERBAIJAN

According to the decree of Azeri president Heydar Aliyev, several structural changes are made in the system of the force departments and special services of the state. So, according to “Arminfo” agency reports, the Security Service is now under the charge of the National Security Ministry. The NSM has to introduce proposals on structure and staff of the ministry within a month. At the same time, the department of frontier troops on the basis of which the State frontier service is being established is not included in the structure of the NSM. The head of the service is appointed the ex-head of the department of the frontier troops Elchin Guliyev.
