RUSSIA AND US AGREED ON TAKING JOINT MEASURES FOR SECURITY IN SOUTH CAUCASIAN REGION

Moscow and Washington has agreed on taking a number of a joint measures for the security and stability as well as economic development in the South Caucasian states. The sides come to this agreement at the meeting of the Russian-American working group on the struggle against terror in Annapolis, July 26. The two delegations paid a special attention to the situation at the geopolitical intersections of the Central Asia and Caucasus in view of the present instability there. The American side again stated, the USA do not intend to have military bases in those regions but it is going to cooperate with the Central-Asian and South-Caucasian states in the security sphere.
