ARMENIAN DEBT TO RUSSIA $101 MLN AT PRESENT

The Armenian debt to Russia at present is about $ 101 mln. «De Facto» agency was reported this at the state debt management department of the Ministry of finances and economy of RA. The debt itself is $ 93.76 and the loan interest rate is $7.4 mln. According to the Department officials, the program «Property for Debt» stipulates the transfer of the Razdan thermoelectric power plant and a number of the Armenian enterprises for repayment of $ 93. 76 mln. Nevertheless, according to the agreement, the Armenian side must pay the loan interest rates that will be about $9 million by 2002 end.
