The situation in Caucasus as well as many other issues that are on the agenda will be considered at the meeting of the Russia-US working group on anti-terror within the frameworks of the “expanded mandate” taking place in American city Annapolis today. As the US State department official representatives Richard Boucher has stated, the cooperation of the two states in the struggle against terror is considered in view of the instability in Afghanistan, the Middle East, the Central Asia and Caucasus. At the meeting chaired by Russian first deputy foreign minister Vyachelsav Trubnikov and the US Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage, a group of high rank diplomats, military men and special services representatives are taking part.
