The recommencement of military activities in the Nagorno-Karabakh confrontation zone is fraught with tragic consequences not only for the conflict parties but also for the whole region in general. OSCE Minsk group American co-chair on the Nagorno-Karabakh Rudolph Perina has stated that in his interview with “ANS” TV company. According to him, the conflict parties are still far from the achieving the compromise but at the same time the Armenian and Azeri presidents have stated about their readiness to continue the direct dialog. “We evaluate it positively and wish the peaceful agreement to be signed in the nearest future”, Perina noted.
