RUSSIAN PARTY TO ASSUME MANAGEMENT OF FINANCIAL FLOWS OF ARMENIAN NUCLEAR POWER PLANT NEXT WEEK

Agreement on passing management of financial flows of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant to “United Energy Systems of Russia” company will be signed next week. Armenian minister of energy Armen Movsisian told journalists. In his words, the term of passing the management will make 5 years. The minister reminded that “UES of Russia” had paid off the plant $40-million debt to fuel suppliers. Armenia recompensed the company for $25 million out of the sum via passing the property complex of the Sevan-Hrazdan cascade of hydroelectric power stations to it, and the rest of the debt will be paid within two years by dint of means gained from electric power sales, he said.
