The approaches of the Karabakh party to the settlement of the conflict in NK cannot undergo a change, regardless the presidential election results in Nagorno Karabakh. NKR president Arkadi Ghukasian has stated that explaining that with the fact that the approaches have been taken by the people of NKR. According to the president, the leadership and people of Nagorno-Karabakh have their clear approach stating the independence of NKR and inadmissibility of the submission to Azerbaijan. According to Ghukasian, the international community is to welcome the presidential election in NKR as the only alternative to it is dictatorship and this cannot be encouraged in any way.
