CONFERENCE ON MIGRATION AND STATE ORGANIZING IN CAUCASUS STARTED IN YEREVAN

Today the “Migration and state organizing in Caucasus” conference has started in Yerevan. The issues regarding the migration processes, ethnic and political situation in the South Caucasus countries and in Northern Caucasus are discussed. The issues regarding influence of the migration in the South Caucasus on the situation in Russia and the reaction of the society, migrant adaptation under the conditions of the current political situation in the territory of the Caucasus as well as Armenia-Diaspora relations are also considered at the conference. Political scientists, sociologists, historians from Armenia, Georgia and Russia as well as representatives of the Parliament, RA MFA and foreign embassies in Yerevan, officials of the UNO, OSCE and other local and international organizations are taking part in the forum.
