We hope the resignation of Turkish foreign minister Ismail Cem would not have negative effects on the dialog between Armenia and Turkey. Armenian MFA press secretary Dzyunik Aghajanian has stated that regarding the recent internal political events in Turkey. According to her, Armenia attaches special importance to the establishment of political stability in the neighboring country. “I want to express hope that the Armenia-Turkish dialog will continue since this proceeds from the interests of the two neighboring states and peoples”, stated the MFA press secretary. Armenia has always been for the dialog at top level aiming at positive advancements of the Armenian-Turkish relations, Aghajanian stated.
