The issue on variance between the Armenian Constitution and the International law will not be discussed in the PACE commission for monitoring. The head of the commission for foreign relations of the Armenian parliament, the head of the Armenian delegation to the PACE Hovanes Hovanesian has stated that in his interview with “Arka” agency, denying the information of the Turkish media about that the discussion of that issue, possibly, will take place at the coming meeting of the PACE monitoring committee in September. Hovanesian reported that PACE Bureau had approved the document “On accordance of the legislations of the Council of Europe countries with the International law principles” and introduced that to notice of the monitoring commission. It should be reminded that the document presented by the Azeri party states about the variance between the Armenian Constitution and the International law and that the CE members must recognize the territorial integrity of one another.
