RUSSIAN COUNCIL OF FEDERATION RATIFIED ARMENIAN-RUSSIAN TREATY ON NATURAL DIAMOND SUPPLIES TO ARMENIA

Today the Council of the Federation of the Russian parliament ratified the Armenian-Russian inter-parliamentary treaty on natural diamond supplies to Armenia. 135 members of the Council of the Federation voted for ratifying the treaty, two parliamentarians voted against. The treaty period of validity expires December 31, 2006.
