European council Secretary General Walter Schwimmer has compared Armenia and Azerbaijan with “Siamese twins”. Speaking at the Yerevan State University, Schwimmer expressed confidence that “Armenia and Azerbaijan have common future and have to exist a single structure”. According to Schwimmer, becoming a European Council members in 2001, Armenia and Azerbaijan joined the united European family, “which knows many examples of reconciliation of countries and peoples”.
