The number of confirmed coronavirus infections in Armenia grew by 2146 to reach 291,052 on Friday, October 22 morning, according to information provided by the Health Ministry.
Fresh figures also revealed that 1134 more people recovered, 42 patients died from Covid-19, while five others carrying the virus died from other reasons in the past 24 hours.
A total of 18,598 tests have been performed in the past day, the National Center For Disease Control and Prevention said.
So far, 258,486 people have recovered, 5944 have died from the coronavirus in the country, while 1248 others carrying the virus have died from other causes.
