The prospects of development of the Armenian armed forces peacekeeping detachment were discussed by Armenian armed forces general staff chief Mikayel Harytyunian and Pentagon deputy director, chief manager major general Larry Smith. The parties also considered questions concerning education programs on medical care, management systems and modernization of the Armenian peacekeeping battalion armaments. The prospects of the bilateral relations and other questions of mutual interest were also discussed.
