The delegation led by the Minister of European and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Austria, Alexander Schallenberg, who arrived in Armenia on a working visit, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial on February 2, the AGMI reports
Schalenberg was accompanied by his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan.
The guests were welcomed by the director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Harutyun Marutyan who presented the history of the memorial.
The Foreign Ministers of the two countries laid wreaths at the memorial to the victims of the Armenian Genocide, then the guests laid flowers at the Eternal Fire and honored the memory of the innocent martyrs with a minute of silence.
