Armenia approves resource center for repatriates

The Armenian government will create a resource center for repatriates in Yerevan, according to a bill approved on Thursday, February 10.

The center will provide support in finding housing, employment, obtaining documents for all Armenians moving to live in Armenia (whether from Europe and the U.S., from the Middle East or other regions).

Also, the center will provide people with all the necessary information on how to obtain citizenship, transport personal belongings, etc.

The space for the center will be allocated by the Hirair and Anna Hovnanian Foundation and will be paid for by the Armenian government.

According to information provided by the office of the High Commission for Diaspora Affairs, the center is expected to serve as the "ultimate gateway" to solving all repatriation issues
