The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia on Monday, March 14 held meetings with the heads of diplomatic missions accredited in the country and representatives of international organizations.
According to the press service of the Ministry, “the foreign diplomats were informed about the actions of Azerbaijan aimed at creating a humanitarian crisis in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), including constant interruptions in gas supplies, attacks on infrastructure, civilians, and other types of psychological pressure on the people of Artsakh”.
The Armenian side stressed the need for a balanced and clear response from the international community in order to prevent a humanitarian crisis.
100,000 residents in Karabakh have been deprived of gas for over a week now, and because the pipeline has been damaged in territories currently under Baku's control, the Azerbaijani military won't allow the Armenian side to eliminate the problem.
The Azerbaijan armed forces have also been violating the ceasefire and using loudspeakers to spread panic among the population of Nagorno-Karabakh, attempting to force them to leave their homes.
