WE OBSERVE POSITIVE MOOD OF ARMENIAN AND AZERI PRESIDENTS FOR HOLDING NEXT MEETING, OSCE MINSK GROUP CO-CHAIR STATED

President Aliyev’s statements on “the Parisian principles” did not tell on the Armenian and Azeri presidents’ tendency towards holding bilateral dialogue. Russian co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group on the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement Nikolay Gribkov told “Echo” Baku newspaper about it. “We observe the positive mood of the leaders of Azerbaijan and Armenia for holding the next meeting. They perceive that in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement much depends on holding such meetings,” – the Russian diplomat noted. Concerning the Armenian leader Robert Kocharian’s statement that each party is trying to make less concession, Gribkov noted it did not concern the temper toward the meeting. “Although, of course, it is a fact that the parties are not remarkable for their special pliability and it in its turn influences the settlement process,” – the Russian co-chair stated. He also noted that he did not know anything about the concrete terms of the two presidents’ meeting yet.
