Millennium Challenge Corporation has upheld the decision on suspension of financing of road construction in Armenia.
“This is the result of Armenia’s failure to resolve human rights problems,” Levon Barseghyan, Asparez Club chairman told reporters today. “The program was suspended although the Armenian government allocated $16,8 million to reach the index envisaged.”
He informed that 60 non-governmental organizations offered a plan to improve political and economic situation in the country and help resume MCA financing.
