Today machinists of the Yerevan metro ceased their strike. As reported by the press service of the Yerevan city hall, resulting from two-day negotiations machinists’ demands of 100-per cent increase of their salary were never met. Instead, salaries of all metro employees are planned to be increased 10-15% at the expense of the enterprise reserve funds. It should be reminded that due to the strike the Yerevan metro did not function since July 1 morning.
