ARMENIAN AND TURKISH FOREIGN MINISTERS DISCUSSED RECENT ADVANCEMENT OF NAGORNO-KARABAKH CONFLICT SETTLEMENT PROCESS

The foreign ministers of Armenia and Turkey Vardan Oskanian and Ismail Cem discussed the recent development of the process of the peaceful settlement of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in Istanbul. As reported in RA NFA press service, at the meeting, the parties also discussed the situation with the Armenian-Turkish relations, regional issues, as well as the issues of the possible participation of Turkey in their settlement. In his interview with journalists, commenting the results of the meeting, Oskanian noted illusions for prompt improvement of the Armenian-Turkish relations should not be created. At the same time, he noted, such meetings might be productive for the development of the Armenian-Turkish relations.
