The second Azerbaijani soldier who crossed the border into Armenia on Monday, April 10 has not been discovered yet, Panorama.am cited Defense Ministry spokesperson Aram Torosyan as saying on Tuesday.
Law enforcement officers are still looking for the Azerbaijani servicemen, Torosyan said, failing to provide more details about the search operation.
The Defense Ministry confirmed the detention of an Azerbaijani soldier in Armenia on Monday.
According to the Azerbaijani serviceman, he was accompanied by another soldier who has yet to be found and identified.
Azerbaijani media reported earlier that two soldiers went missing in Nakhijevan.
