IRAQ READY TO GIVE ARMENIA MULTIMILLION QUOTA WITHIN “OIL IN EXCHANGE FOR PROVISIONS” PROGRAM

Iraqi government is ready to give Armenia a multimillion quota within the framework of “Oil in exchange for provisions” program. Armenia-Iraq friendship deputy group leader Ghukas Ulikhanian reported it today upon the completion of the Armenian parliamentary delegation’s visit to Baghdad. One only has to wait for the agreement of the Armenian side, he added. In Ulikhanian’s words, signing of the agreement on creation of an inter-parliamentary commission on economic cooperation is expected in the course of the coming visit of the Iraqi governmental delegation to Yerevan.
