HALO TRUST RENDERED MILLIONTH SHELL HARMLESS

Yesterday HALO TRUST British humanitarian non-governmental organization engaged in minefield clearance including the ones in Nagorno Karabakh rendered the millionth unexploded shell harmless since its establishment. As the coordinator of program of neutralization of mines in Nagorno-Karabakh Shane Pritchard has noted 37 thousand of mines in the territory of the republic were rendered harmless with the active assistance of the NKR defense ministry and local population. In this connection, the NKR leadership has expressed the hope that HALO TRUST will not stop its activities in Karabakh until all the unexploded ammunition in the territory of the republic is neutralized.
