Armenia: 223, including 25 civilians killed in latest Karabakh aggression

223 people, including 25 civilians were killed during the September aggression of Azerbaijan against Nagorno-Karabakh, of the Investigative Committee of Armenia Argishti Kyaramyan said in an interview with the Public TV ob Thursday, January 4.

According to Kyaramyan, 244 people were injured during fighting, about 80 of them were civilians, including 5 children.

Another 20 people have gone missing, 17 others were captured. Kyaramyan added that about 20 bodies have been mutilated by the Azerbaijani military.

Kyaramyan also said that an explosion at a fuel depot near Stepanakert killed 218 people and injured 120 people. About 70 more Karabakh residents died on the way to Armenia during the forced deportation.
