HEYDAR ALIYEV DENIED REPORTS ABOUT COMING MEETING WITH ARMENIAN PRESIDENT IN SADARAK

The reports about the coming meeting of the Azeri and Armenian Presidents on the Azeri-Armenian border in Sadarak – are no more than rumor. As reported by “Arminfo” agency, Heydar Aliyev told “525” Baku newspaper about it. In his earlier statements made in the course of the visit to Nakhichevan the Azerbaijani leader confirmed the reports that the next round of negotiations with his Armenian counterpart Robert Kocharian might be held in the near future, but at the same time did not specify the date and place of the meeting. The hearsay about holding the coming meeting of the Armenian and Azeri Presidents in Sadarak spread in the region the day before and the reports were unofficially confirmed by the President guard. But Heydar Aliyev himself denied these reports.
