ARMENIAN-RUSSIAN COMMISSION ON ECONOMIC COOPERATION RUSSIAN CO-CHAIR ILYA KLEBANOV’S VISIT TO YEREVAN POSTPONED

The visit of Russian co-chair of the Armenian-Russian commission on economic cooperation, Russian Minister of Industry, Science and Technologies Ilya Klebanov to Armenia planned for June 20 is postponed. Armenian Defense Minister, Armenian co-chair of the mentioned commission Serge Sargsian stated it. In his words, at present together with the cabinet Klebanov is ascertaining the circle of agreements to be discussed in Yerevan. Serge Sargsian noted that in the course of Ilya Klebanov’s coming visit to Yerevan “concrete documents will be signed without fail.” Realization of the “assets on account of the debt” scheme via passing a number of Armenian state enterprises to Russia on account of Armenia’s state debt to Russia for the sum of nearly $100 million is meant. Yerevan Institutes of automatic management systems and mathematical machines, Institute of Science of Materials, “Mars” robot factory and Hrazdan thermoelectric power station, which according to “Arminfo” agency data, will be passed to the Russian party first of all, are among them.
