The major repairs of the aircraft of the air forces of Armenia are started in Gyumri. As reported by Armenian Minister of Defense Serge Sargsian, the Russian government helps the Armenian side to restore the military equipment. «As the Republic of Armenia air force is equipped with materiel produced by Russia and Armenia does not produce the necessary component parts, the Russian colleagues support us in this question,» – the minister noted. Meanwhile he stated that Armenia is ready to receive the aid, aimed at renewal of military, especially aircraft equipment from anyone who is ready to provide it.
