Armenian heavyweight boxer Davit Chaloyan lost the Olympic quarterfinals to Spain’s Ayoub Gadfa by a unanimous decision.
Gadfa is also the reigning European champion.
Chaloyan had earlier defeated Great Britain’s Delicious Orie 3:2 in the Round of 16.
Armenia hasn’t won a medal at the Paris Olympics yet.
