ARMENIA REMAINS “SORE ISSUE” FOR TURKISH FOREIGN POLICY, US ANALYST STATES

Armenia remains “a sore issue” for the Turkish foreign policy. US analyst, leading expert of “Heritage Foundation” Fund Ariel Cohen stated it. At the same time, as reported by “Mediamax” agency, Cohen did not rule out the opportunity for Turkey to open the border with Armenia. In the analyst’s words, until recently the Turkish military were against the initiative, “however, the situation may change, as Turkey today considers it will get “additional instruments” by opening the Armenian frontier.”
