IT VIDEO CONFERENCES HELD BETWEEN YEREVAN, WASHINGTON, BOSTON AND MOSCOW

Recently the officers of the Armenian department of the World Bank in Washington and the WB representation in Armenia organized series of video conferences, devoted to the role of the information technologies in stimulating the Armenian export and attracting direct foreign investments, as well as training professionals for that branch. The videoconferences were held between Yerevan, Washington, Boston and Moscow. The grant given by the project initiator “Global network of development and education” organization also provides for creation of a special Internet structure called to contribute to developing the dialogue between the representatives of the state and private structures working in the sphere of high technologies. The project is being realized under the supervision of the head of the Armenian office of the World Bank Owaise Saadat and senior economic advisor of WB in Armenia Lev Freikman.
