Estonia interested in strengthening cooperation with Armenia

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan hosted the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Estonia to Armenia Marge Mardisalu-Kahar who stressed her country’s interest to strengthen the cooperation with Armenia.

The Prime Minister congratulated the Ambassador on the occasion of assuming the position and expressed hope that during her term of office the cooperation between Armenia and Estonia will continue to develop and expand. Pashinyan emphasized active political dialogue, deepening of relations in economic and other spheres. The Prime Minister also emphasized the role of Estonia in the development of cooperation between Armenia and the European Union and the implementation of reforms in our country.

Mardisalu-Kahar thanked Pashinyan for the warm welcome and emphasized the interest of the Government of Estonia to strengthen the cooperation with Armenia. In that regard, the Ambassador emphasized the organization of bilateral high-level mutual visits.

The interlocutors exchanged ideas on Armenia-EU relations, as well as other issues of regional importance.
