Armenia’s Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan led a delegation to Kazakhstan, where he attended the restricted-format session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Almaty on January 30.
The meeting was organized within the framework of Eurasian economic cooperation, according to Armenia’s government.
Discussions focused on the economic development prospects of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the joint efforts required to achieve the union’s economic goals by 2030, Kazakhstan’s government press service reported.
The summit particularly emphasized joint projects in the agro-industrial sector, technological advancements, selective breeding, seed production, and agricultural development initiatives.
Additionally, the meeting approved a transport agreement between Armenia and Kazakhstan, aimed at enhancing transport cooperation and strengthening trade ties.
