The fourth session of the EU-Armenia Parliamentary Partnership Committee will take place on February 25 at 09:30 in the Gilded Hall of the National Assembly, according to the parliament’s press service.
The session will be broadcast live in English on the official website and YouTube channel of the National Assembly.
On the same day, following the session, a press conference will be held in the adjacent hall by the committee’s co-chairs, Arman Yeghoyan and Nils Ušakovs. The conference is scheduled between 13:00 and 13:30, depending on the session's progress.
On February 12, Armenia’s National Assembly approved in the first reading a bill to initiate the country’s EU accession process. The Armenian government had endorsed the proposal on January 9, following an initiative by the Eurovote civil movement. The bill is set for further discussion in parliament.
