Armenian fighter Arman Tsarukyan, the No. 1 contender in UFC’s lightweight division, will not participate in the UFC 313 event scheduled for March 9 in Las Vegas, where he was set to face American Justin Gaethje, reports Armenpress.
"I didn’t refuse the fight. I accepted the offer immediately but requested a catchweight bout at 72.5 kg since there are only 11 days until the weigh-in. UFC rejected that option," Tsarukyan stated.
