Today Armenian President Robert Kocharian left for Minsk on an official two-day visit. The delegation headed by him includes Ministers of Industry and Trade, Agriculture, Education and Science, the mayor of Yerevan, parliament deputies, and entrepreneurs. Today Robert Kocharian’s meeting with Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko will take place. After their confidential conversation broader membership negotiations will be held. A number of documents will be signed on the results of the negotiations, including protocol attached to the agreement on free trade, agreement on non-visa regime, treaty on mutual supply of arms and military equipment. Robert Kocharian will also meet with Belarus Prime Minister Gennady Novitski. Armenian President will participate in the ceremony of laying the first stone into the foundation of the future building of the Armenian embassy in Minsk, will lay a wreath to the memorial of the Victory. The visits to “Belresource” concern and the Minsk tractor plant are also planned. The President will meet with the representatives of the Armenian community of Belarus.
