“The United States do not intend to station their military bases in Azerbaijan.” US ambassador to Baku Ross Wilson stated it yesterday. In his words, Washington intends to carry out military cooperation with Azerbaijan in four directions: in the sphere of securing marine and air frontiers, cooperation of peacekeeping forces, as well as teaching English to Azeri officers. The Washington administration intends to allocate $4 million for that purpose, 750 out of which will be used to organize the officers’ English lessons.
