The Armenian government has approved an additional 9.6 billion drams (approximately $24.7 million) to ensure proper implementation of the nationwide program to construct, renovate, and reconstruct 300 schools and 500 kindergartens.
The funding will be distributed as follows:
- 800 million drams for kindergarten overhauls,
- 500 million drams for new school construction,
- 5.9 billion drams for school renovation,
- 2.4 billion drams for furnishing both schools and kindergartens.
