ARMENIAN PRESIDENT TO MAKE OFFICIAL VISIT TO BELARUS

The day after tomorrow Armenian president Robert Kocharian will leave for Minsk on a two-day official visit. The delegation led by him includes ministers of trade and industry, agriculture, science and education, Yerevan’s mayor, parliamentary deputies, businessmen. On the first day of the visit, Robert Kocharian will meet with Belarus president Aleksander Lukashenko. Their meeting will be followed by the negotiations. A number of documents including protocol to the agreement on free trade, agreement on mutual supplies of arms and military equipment will be signed according to the results of the negotiations. Robert Kocharian will also meet with Belarus Premier Gennady Novitski. Armenian President will participated in the ceremony of the laying of the first stone into the foundation of the expected building of the Armenian embassy in Minsk, will place a wreath at the Victory memorial. The visits to the “Belresource” concern and the Minsk tractor factory are expected. The president will meet with representatives of the Armenian community in Belarus as well.
