Pashinyan, Aliyev discuss “all aspects related to peace treaty”

Deputy Chief of the Armenian Prime Minister's Office Taron Chakhoyan announced that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev discussed all aspects related to the peace treaty during a five-hour meeting.

"They could have talked for 25 hours—there’s no issue. Topics also included the time and place for signing the peace treaty. In the coming days, official statements will follow, and some details of the talks will be clarified, including where consensus was reached on certain issues," Chakhoyan said, as reported by Pastinfo, noting that no firm agreements can yet be disclosed.

Asked whether negotiations are underway with any organization or company regarding the transfer of road control functions, Chakhoyan responded, "As far as I know, no."

On July 10, Pashinyan and Aliyev met in Abu Dhabi to discuss various aspects of normalizing interstate relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Both sides confirmed that bilateral negotiations remain the most effective format to address all issues in the normalization process and agreed to continue result-oriented dialogue. The meeting lasted approximately five hours.
